Did you know you can find real snow at Walt Disney World? Ok, maybe not real winter snow, but you can still find snow! This kind of snow is referred to as “snoap” because of it being made of a soapy-bubbly substance. It truly looks like beautiful, real snow as it soars through the air and falls slowly to the ground, but without the cold! When visiting Walt Disney World during the holidays, snow can be found falling in a few places. To help you celebrate the season during your trip this holiday season, we’re here to help with our guide to finding snow at Walt Disney World!

Magic Kingdom

When visiting the Magic Kingdom this holiday season, you’ll truly be walking in a winter wonderland! During Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, snow magically floats down Main Street U.S.A intermittently throughout the evening!

One of the most magical ways to see this snow fall is during the Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade! This festive parade is offered twice each event night. As the parade makes its way down Main Street, snow begins to perfectly fall for a beautiful holiday scene.

Hollywood Studios

There are actually two places where you can find snow at Hollywood Studios!

If you’re visiting Hollywood Studios this holiday season, you can find snow beautifully fall down Sunset Boulevard during the evenings! Snow cascades throughout the evening during Sunset Seasons Greetings, the nightly holiday projection show onto the Tower of Terror. During this show, in addition to snow you’ll see charming holiday-themed projections set to holiday music! One of the cutest projections is the Tower of Terror magically transforming into a gingerbread house or, technically, a gingerbread hotel!

You can find snow year round at the Frozen Sing-Along show! This show allows you to sing along to some of your favorite tunes from the film Frozen as the Arendelle historians share some of the kingdom’s history. Along the way, you might even encounter Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff! During the holiday season, there is a special holiday edition of this show! In addition to the regular show, you will also be able to sing along with Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, and Olaf to beloved songs from Olaf’s Frozen Adventure! Some of these songs include “That Time of Year” and “When We’re Together”. This show is a can’t miss to celebrate the season!

Disney Springs

When visiting Disney Springs, snow can be found falling at the Disney Springs Town Center. This area is next to the Lime Garage entrance into Disney Springs by stores such as Zara and Free People. Each night during the holiday season, you can find snow falling here intermittently, approximately every half hour! Nearby as well is the main Disney Springs Christmas tree, making for a cheery winter scene.

“Snoap” Wands

You can have snow anywhere at Walt Disney World with a snoap wand! Sold throughout the parks are “snoap” wands, similar to the traditional bubble wand, but instead of bubbles these create snow! These “snoap” wand typically cost between $30-$40.
